The WCPCA holds an annual Punkin Chunkin event to raise money for the purposes of youth education and enlightenment in the areas of science and engineering as well as supporting our charity programs. We believe that Punkin Chunkin cultivates the odd, challenging, and competitive quest for distance that inspires creativity, ingenuity, teamwork, and passion. It is this very dedication that drives teams to compete using science and engineering skills and brings spectators to the gate which allows us to continue our never ending thirst to support our scholarship and charitable programs.
For the past 25 years, Sussex County, Delaware has hosted the annual Punkin Chunkin World Championships. For three days, engineers, both serious and home grown, bring their huge contraptions and give it all they've got to chunk their 8- to 10-pound pumpkin as far as it can go. This year's celebration takes place on November 1-3.

Before filling out the vendor form, please review the information below:
- This is an outdoor event on a dirt field.
- There is no electric provided generators are allowed.
- Camping is permitted in designated area one campsite per space rented.
- All vendors are responsible for their trash. there will be dumpsters on site to dispose of waste.
- Hours of operation are: Friday 8am until sundown, Saturday 8am until after fireworks at sundown and Sunday 8am until sundown.
- No vehicles are allowed on midway after opening.
- Ice will be available on site
- Water is available (no direct hoses, only a fill station)
- This event is rain or shine. There are no refunds if accepted.
In an effort to provide the greatest variety of goods and services, duplicate vendors of the same category will be refunded. If two vendors register to sell hamburgers, the second vendor to register will be refunded.
